The Ghost Army Legacy Project
To honor and preserve the legacy of the men who served in the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops (the Ghost Army) during World War II.
- Raising public awareness about the unit’s accomplishments
- Lobbying Congress to grant the unit a Congressional Gold Medal
- Building a comprehensive Ghost Army archive with the eventual goal of donating it to a research institution.
- Developing Ghost Army exhibits and educational materials
Our fundraising goal for 2016 is $50,000. We are nearly 30% of the way there. Can you make a tax-deductible donation help move this forward? Your support can help ensure The Ghost Army is never forgotten. To donate online, click here.
Since we are still setting up the non-profit, we are doing our initial fundraising through the Center for Independent Documentary. It is just like donating to the film – but the funds will be used to launch this new initiative. Once the non-profit is create, (which will likely take a few months) people will be able to make tax exempt donations directly to that.
